Blagrove Meadows and land behind Leathern Bottel update

Application No. 222306: Land adj to Blagrove Lane – up to 350 houses and Care Home with accesses onto Blagrove Lane and Barkham Road. Details of the application are on the WBC website at

Wokingham Borough Council have just issued an advisory that this longstanding application will be considered by the Planning Committee at their meeting on 11th September with a recommendation to approve which will be very disappointing news indeed to a great majority of you.

A copy of the notification is attached.  As you will see you can attend in person, or watch live on the Council’s You Tube page but if you wish to speak you have to give prior notice and even then speakers are limited in total to 3 minutes per category of speaker.

On a more positive note we have been advised that application 232621 for houses behind the Leathern Bottel has been rejected by WBC. Details of the application including the decision note are on the WBC website at
