Possible new care home at Bearwood Road / Highlands Avenue
Initial pre-application steps have been taken by developers proposing a 72 room care home on the southern side of Highlands Avenue. A copy of the flyer produced by the developers is attached. But, as always in this scenario, we advise that you do not respond to the developer at this stage and await the planning application. We will send another alert when the formal application is submitted to WBC.

Development behind the Coombes Primary School, School Road, Arborfield
We reported back in December that the application (250735) for 70 houses off School Road by Croudace had been recommended for approval. Planning consent has now been granted by the Borough. Up to 40% of the houses will have to be “affordable” (of which 70% will be social rented and 30% shared ownership) . The development will be a mix of 20% flats, 65% 2/3 bed houses, and 15% of 4 bedroom units..
