Planning Application For Houses Adjacent To Eversley Rd Arborfield

A substantial application (250733) for 135 houses has been made by David Wilson Homes on agricultural land known as Ducks Nest adjacent to Eversley Road Arborfield. The main access to the development would be from the Eversley Road roundabout leading to Arborfield Green. The application includes 17 hectares of SANGS (Strategic Alternative Natural Greenspace). The consultation period runs until 10th May 2025.

The proposed development is not included as a site for development in the draft Local Plan that has been submitted to the Government for approval. Apart from yet more houses and traffic,  you may feel that a vehicular access to the SANGS land onto the new 50 mph  Arborfield by-pass is potentially very dangerous and misplaced.

Furthermore the proposal would further erode the green gap between Arborfield Green and Arborfield village.

We urge you to respond using the link above.
