Blagrove Lane Appeal by Berkeley Homes

In our alert of the 28th November last we mentioned that unsurprisingly Berkeley Homes had now lodged an appeal against the refusal of the WBC planning committee to grant planning consent for the 350 dwellings proposed (notwithstanding the WBC officers having recommended the application for approval).

T
he Evendons Area Residents Association are seeking urgent support in objecting to the appeal – and inviting objections. See the attached leaflet. Objections will have to be lodged with the Planning Inspectorate by 24th December. The leaflet suggests concerns that need to be raised,

BVRA have lodged an objection mostly based on highway considerations i.e. the poor access on to Barkham Road, the increased traffic that could be anticipated on Evendons Lane and Edneys Hill and the dangerous junction between Evendons Lane and Finchampstead Road. The proposed development is, of course, not a site proposed for development in the draft Local Plan.

Kind Regards
