Revised Planning Application For Homes Off Blagrove Lane

In August 2022 we advised you of an application for a large housing development of around 350 homes at Blagrove Lane. The application led to a campaign by the Evendons Area Residents Association and suppported by BVRA. When the original consultation ended WBC had received over 500 comments from local residents and organisations.

After over a year, Berkley Homes have now submitted revised plans to WBC.

As far as we can see,  it seems the new application just tinkers around the edges and the impact remains largely the same. Full details of the new plans are on the WBC website and include a document summarising the changes which we have attached to this email for your convenience.

The application can be viewed, and comments made at

https://planning.wokingham.gov.uk/FastWebPL/detail.asp?AltRef=222306

Comments should be made by December 7th.

Our previous DevWatch alerts relevant to these applications can be read on the BVRA website at https://barkham.org.uk/devwatch/archive/listing

The BVRA sees no reason for anyone changing their previous views regarding this application.

WBC have confirmed to us that all the original comments will still be taken into account when deciding on this application. However, you are encouraged to make comments on the revisions. Please use your own words in any comments made. Your comments are important in helping us to prevent the over development of Barkham and the surrounding area.

Kind Regards
BVRA
