Planing Application For 27 Houses On School Road

A planning application has been made (252595) for outline planning consent for 27 dwellings with a new proposed access on to School Road but with pedestrian and emergency access onto Langley Common Road. 

The proposal would reduce the pleasant open green space down School Road and result in even more traffic using the already dangerous junction with Langley Common Road. You will recall that the planning application 250735 for up to 70 dwellings further up School Road has been recommended for approval. Further pressure would be put on local services and healthcare.

Comments, using the link above, can be made during the consultation period which runs to 12th January 2026.

This proposal had not been included in the draft Local Plan which is being considered by the Government appointed inspectors.
