As you may have seen from the local papers the first, and probably major, application (252498) for planning consent for this major development has now been submitted by Reading University to Wokingham Borough for approval. The application is, in part, a full application, and in part outline.
The application envisages 2800 dwellings, 2 primary schools, a secondary school and a new bridge over the M4.
Comments can be made to the Borough by the 16th January 2026.
The site was, of course identified for development in the draft Local Plan which is to be considered by the Government Inspectors on the enquiry that starts on 18th November as mentioned in a previous alert.
