Planning Application Blagrove Lane

LOCAL PLAN UPDATE

The Government appointed Inspectors will begin hearings on the 18th November on the draft Local Plan as submitted to them by Wokingham Borough Council at the Council offices in Shute End.

See https://www.localplanservices.co.uk/wokinghamlpexamination for more details.

It should be stressed that the objective of the hearings is to test the soundness and legal compliance of the draft plan. Only those people or organisations who have previously made written representations will be entitled to be heard. However the hearings are open to be attended by anyone who is interested. A draft programme has been published indicating that the Loddon Valley Garden Village (i.e. Hall Farm) will be discussed on the 19th November – and Arborfield Green on the following day.

BLAGROVE LANE PLANNING APPLICATION

An outline application (252114) has been lodged for the residential development of land adjoining Blagrove Lane opposite the entrance to Doles Lane for five dwellings. Comments can be made up to 14th October. This is adjacent to the much larger area of land for which consent was recently granted to Bewley Homes on appeal (222306). Further up Blagrove Lane an earlier outline application was made (250835) for 3 houses.
